LANDRUM & BROWN CEO ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT, NEXT MOVE

Cincinnati, Ohio/March 10, 2022 – After more than 30 years with Landrum & Brown and 18 years as President and the last five as CEO, Mark Perryman has announced his retirement from consulting. At the beginning of April, Mark will take on a new role as Executive Director and CEO at the Norfolk Airport Authority, where he will lead and oversee the operation of the Norfolk International Airport in Norfolk, Virginia.

In the coming days and weeks, L&B leadership will be working to ensure a smooth transition for the L&B team and client partners and to identify Mark’s successor as CEO. During this time, L&B’s Executive Management Team will assume the role of leading L&B until a successor is named.

“I am so privileged to have had the opportunity to lead the best aviation consultancy in the world,” said Perryman. “I could not have asked for a better team of professionals to work with and call my friends. I know they will continue to build upon the L&B legacy that we all have been a part of. L&B is in good hands and will continue to flourish because of the dedication and hard work they have poured into the company.”

During Mark’s tenure at L&B, he has led some of the most significant aviation projects for the firm over the past three decades and he helped lead and grow the firm during some of the most difficult times in the history of aviation consultancy. He helped add new services and geographic reach to the company through both organic and acquisitive growth, bringing on four companies to L&B and advising over 200 airports clients around the world.

L&B extends its congratulations and warm wishes for Mark’s continued success.
