Xi’an Xianyang International Airport is the eighth busiest airport in China handling 37 MAP in 2016. With four parallel runways, the East Terminal is planned to handle 40MAP for the first phase development and 70MAP in the ultimate phase when the Xi’an Airport is projected to serve 120MAP with a five runway system.

L&B lead Chinese Construction Group North West Design Institute and Chinese Architectural Design Institute (two local Chinese architectural national design institutes) as the preferred solution for this USD $7 billion development project.

L&B provides the leadership of architectural design services for this program including performance of preliminary architectural design and project design management.
